Mr. Tim Cahalan and his wife, Susan, (parish organist) lead the music ministry. The choir sings at a Mass approximately three out of four weekends from September through June. Guitar and sometimes a flute or two accompanies the Folk Choir, an ensemble of five to nine members. This group sings five of every six Sundays, primarily at the 9:30 Liturgy. The Cantor cues and supports the singing of the assembly as well as sings solo passages.   CONTACT: Tim Cahalan

Ministry of Hospitality     This Ministry (Greeters) of Hospitality is an important one because these individuals can set the atmosphere for the service. The greeters are usually the first person one sees upon entering the church. This is a great way to show your love of God by your service of kindness to others.   CONTACT: Susan Conrad

Future Planning

The potential for ministry and service is enormous!  Some areas of ministry that are needed at All Saints are:

Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) – Inspired by the loving and tender relationship of our Blessed Mother, Mary, and her cousin Elizabeth, MOMS is an 8-week spiritual journey that leads a group of women through the discovery of individual gifts, peer ministry, self-value, mutual guidance and prayer.  Through the process of personal and spiritual growth, women have the opportunity to clarify their values, claim their own giftedness, and bring these new strengths to their family relationships and this parish community.  It is designed for all mothers, wherever they are in their life’s journey.

Christ Renews His Parish – This program was at one time very active at St. Joseph Parish prior to the consolidation.  It is a wonderful opportunity for spiritual renewal and awakening.  It is active in many parishes in the diocese.  Plans are in the works to revive CRHP in the Spring of 2003.  CONTACT: Kay White, S.F.O. (722-4080)

Volunteers are always needed

Volunteers are needed in many areas of the Parish and School. Would you like to launder altar cloths, help clean the sanctuary or main body of the church? Did you ever wonder how the Missalettes get changed in the pews? If any of these jobs appeal to you, call the Parish Office and offer your services.

Perhaps you enjoy working with school children. Book Buddies are welcome at the Elementary School and tutors are needed in the Middle School. Perhaps you would like to trim soup labels or help with bulletin boards. Whatever your area of interest, contact either of the schools or the Parish Office to volunteer.
